| CHIROPRACTORS CELEBRATE 100TH YEAR!! |

Topeka, Kansas – Over 100 doctors of chiropractic and their suppliers and sponsors met in Overland Park October 14-16, 2011 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kansas Chiropractic Association. The KCA is the first such group formed in the United States, and its establishment resulted in the passage of the first state law authorizing the practice of chiropractic in the U. S. On hand for the occasion was Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Rebecca Halstead, a national supporter of chiropractic services for the military and veterans and their families, and Dr. Alana Calender, an historian for the profession. Signing an Army One Source community covenant pledging service and care for military families and veterans in Kansas is Dr. Paul Brackeen, Derby, president of the KCA and Major Jennifer Glidwell.
Chiropractic health care services comprise a growing field of preventative, natural and non-drug therapies for improving spinal health, diet and physical fitness. |
