Special Events

Friday and Saturday Lunches:

The red carpet leads to the outside tent where you can gather to enjoy great food, mix and mingle with other attendees and CE session presenters, and take a good break. Lunch break from 12-1 p.m. each day.


Friday, October 9th:

  • After the CE sessions, meet us on the first floor of the College at the north entrance lobby for bubbles, bites & a bit of Hollywood Glamour to honor the famous Dr. Dwight Gerred during this dedication ceremony of the “Dwight F. Gerred Waiting Room”.

Saturday, October 10th:

  • After the CE Sessions, You are invited to join us in honoring our star-studded cast of reunion doctors and award recipients during this year’s Homecoming awards party. Celebration begins at 5 p.m. with fabulous refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. At 6 p.m., join the KCA and CCC Alumni Association for awards, recognition and additional fun. Don’t miss out…award for Alumnus of the Year and KCA doctors of the year will be presented.

 

Additional Details

  • Lunch is provided to all attendees registered for the FULL or HALF package. In addition to standard food service, we will have a variety of vegan, vegetarian and/or gluten-free lunch items each day. For additional requests, please call (800) 969-2701 to make arrangements.
  • A hotel room block has been arranged at the Overland Park Marriott located at 10800 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Reservations can be made by calling (800) 228-9290. All hotel reservations must be received on or before Thursday, September 17, 2015 to receive the $113/night room rate.
  • Hard copies of session notes can be purchased at the door for $20, on a first come, first served basis. All attendees will receive an email with electronic notes the Monday before the event. You may bring a laptop to follow along electronically.
