Kansas now requires 12 hrs/year of CE on x-ray technology for non-licensed individuals who perform x-ray procedures under licensed supervision. This 12 hr course includes radiation safety procedures, radiographic positioning, normal radiographic anatomy, positioning of patients and troubleshooting for bad radiographs. Improved image quality provides improved diagnostic accuracy of radiographic interpretation, and refined x-ray procedures reduce patient exposure to ionizing radiation.

The state of Kansas now requires 12 hours per year of continuing education on x-ray technology for non-licensed individuals who perform x-ray procedures under licensed supervision (KAR-100-73-9).

This 12-hour course includes radiation safety procedures, radiographic positioning, normal radiographic anatomy, positioning of patients and troubleshooting for bad radiographs.

Improved image quality provides improved diagnostic accuracy of radiographic interpretation and refined x-ray procedures reduce patient exposure to ionizing radiation.
