This is a four-hour course that will help participants ensure services and documentation meet medical necessity criteria. During the session, each participant will learn the definition of medical necessity, the purpose and importance of Medical Necessity Criteria and how it impacts clinical decisions, an overview of CPT codes, best documentation practice and guidelines, appropriate utilization of x-rays, and resources to maintain documentation with required standards.

At the completion of the session, each participant will receive four Continuing Education Units (CEUs).


Staff members are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by their CAP contracting chiropractor.
